Ester - Aspenwood SubdivisionAspenwood Subdivision is located on both sides of the George Parks Highway (Parks Highway), approximately two miles west of Ester and about 10 miles west of Fairbanks. The parcel is located on the south side of the highway.
The southern portion of the Aspenwood subdivision is accessible by a partially developed road. From Fairbanks, travel south on the Parks Highway for about 8 miles. Turn onto Cripple Creek Road on the south side of the Parks Highway, follow Cripple Creek Road for about 1.4 miles. Then turn onto Aspenwood Drive. The road is partially developed and the parcel may only be accessed by foot at this time.
Electricity is nearby but not developed to the parcel. Public water and sewer are unavailable in the area; residents typically use private wells and septic systems that must meet Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) standards.
The subdivision is located in the Fairbanks North Star Borough and is subject to real property taxation and zoning restrictions.
The parcel has mostly gentle sloping topography and adequately drained soils with vegetation consisting of spruce, aspen, and birch trees. The parcels are mainly south facing with views of the Tanana Basin and Alaska Range.
