Welcome to the TLO General Permit Site
General Permits are Trust Land Office authorizations that allow activities that are similar in nature and cause only minimal adverse impacts to Trust land and resources. These general permits bridge the gap between the TLO’s public recreation land use policy and commercial authorizations issued through land use permits, leases, easements, and other property interests. (Public recreational use of Trust land for hunting, fishing, and other recreational activities that does not require a permit must be: Day use only, non-commercial, non-motorized, and in compliance with applicable state, federal and local laws. All other activities may require written permission or a permit.)
