Kasilof - Lonesome Lake SubdivisionLonesome Lake Subdivision is located off the highway on North Cohoe Loop road, approximately 20 miles south from Soldotna on the AK-1 South Highway. All lots in the subdivision have lake frontage on either Lonesome Lake or Upper Cohoe Lake. The Kenai Peninsula is known for recreational fishing, hunting, hiking, and outdoor activities. The surrounding neighborhood consists of rural residential properties and includes commercial and light industrial use.
Lonesome Lake Subdivision is located approximately 20 miles south from Soldotna on the AK-1 South Highway and off the highway on North Cohoe Loop road. After approximately 3.6 miles, travelers will turn left onto Smith Donnelly Road and continue for 0.60 miles and arrive at the northern boundary.
Electricity is available in the area but not constructed to the lots. There is no public water or sewer, private wells and septic systems are common in the area and must conform to Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) requirements.
The Lonesome Lake Subdivision is outside of the Kenai Peninsula Borough; however, are subject to State of Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation regulations for on-site water and waste-water disposal systems.
The lots in the subdivision are mostly irregular in shape. The lots are wooded with vegetation typical of the southcentral region. The subdivision is relatively level and has areas of wetlands throughout.
