Grange Hall RoadFairbanks is centrally located in the interior of Alaska, serving as a major hub for the northern part of the state. The city sits along the banks of the Chena River, just north of the Tanana River. The region is characterized by gently rolling hills, boreal forests of aspen, birch, and spruce, and well-drained soils. The area surrounding Fairbanks includes agricultural and residential parcels, as well as land used for recreation. Fairbanks is also a gateway to the broader interior, with access to recreational areas, lakes, and wilderness. The city’s location makes it a strategic center for transportation and commerce.
The parcel is located approximately 50 minutes to the northeast of Fairbanks. It is bisected by a public road, Grange Hall Road.
Electricity is nearby but not developed to the parcel. Public water and sewer are unavailable in the area; residents typically use private wells and septic systems that must meet Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) standards.
The parcel is located in the Fairbanks North Star Borough and is subject to real property taxation and zoning restrictions.
The parcel has level topography with well to poorly drained soils, and vegetated with spruce, aspen and birch trees. There are some small ponds located in the southeast portion of the parcel. Grange Hall Road, which is a public road, goes through the center of the parcel and there are also some trails present on site.
