Notice of proposed changes on allocation of trust land revenues in the regulations of the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority

The Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority has issued a public notice proposing to adopt changes in Title 20 of the Alaska Administrative Code, specifically 20 AAC 40.610 dealing with the allocation of revenues earned by the Trust Land Office between AMHTA principal and income. Alaska Statute requires the Trust to develop regulations pertaining to the allocation of revenues. A change to our revenue allocation is also consistent with the legal settlement agreement that created AMHTA in 1994.

The public notice has been published in the Anchorage Daily News and on the Online Public Notice System at http://notice.alaska.gov/198703. The complete public notice, additional regulation notice information, and proposed revisions can be downloaded below, along with a letter from CEO Mike Abbott which provides more information about the proposed revisions and how the regulations affect Trust beneficiaries.

You may comment on the proposed regulation changes, including the potential costs to private persons of complying with the proposed changes, by submitting written comments to Valette Keller not later than 5:00 pm on July 31, 2020:
