(September 13, 2021) – The Alaska Mental Health Trust Land Office’s (TLO) 2021 Fall Land Sale Auction is underway, with final bids due by November 15, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. This year’s land sale auction includes 58 parcels in locations across Southcentral, Southeast, and Interior Alaska that will be sold to the highest bidder. Revenue generated from land sales will help fund programs and services that support Alaska Mental Health Trust (Trust) beneficiaries across the state.
The 2021 sale includes unique parcels on the road system and in remote locations, as well as island, and river, ocean, and lakefront parcels. Photos, maps, survey details, parcel access, and additional information, including the minimum bid, is available for each parcel on the Trust land auction webpage: www.alaskamentalhealthtrust.org/FallLandSale.
“The Trust’s annual land sale auction is a great way to use our land assets to generate revenue to support Trust beneficiaries – and to get some prime land parcels into the hands of Alaskans,” said Jusdi Doucet, Trust Land Office Executive Director. “As they do each year, our Trust Lands team has put forth some excellent offerings for the sale – we have parcels that are fitting for uses ranging from recreational, to residential, to commercial.”
Policies and procedures for placing a bid can be found on the Trust land sale auction webpage referenced above. Following the bid acceptance period, sealed bids will be opened on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the Trust Land Office.
