The Alaska Mental Health Trust Land Office’s 2022 Fall Land Sale Auction is underway, with final bids due November 14, 2022 at 4:30PM. This year’s land sale auction includes 70 parcels in locations across southcentral, southeast, and interior Alaska that will be sold to the highest bidder.
The Trust Land Office has a responsibility to maximize revenue generation from Trust land assets and does so by selling and developing its land and resources. Revenue generated from the fall land sale and other activities on Trust lands help fund programs and services that support Trust beneficiaries across the state.
The 2022 sale includes unique parcels on the road system, in remote locations, as well as island, and river, ocean, and lakefront parcels. Photos, maps, survey details, parcel access, and additional information including the minimum bid is available for each parcel on the Trust land auction webpage: alaskamentalhealthtrust.org/FallLandSale
“We invite the public to learn more about the many great land parcels available in this year’s land sale auction, and to make a bid before the November 14 deadline,” said Jusdi Warner, Trust Land Office Executive Director. “Our annual fall land sale, coupled with revenue generating development activities on Trust lands directly support the Trust’s grantmaking and advocacy efforts to improve the lives of Trust beneficiaries across the state.”
Policies and procedures for placing a bid can be found on the land sale auction webpage referenced above. Following the bid acceptance period, sealed bids will be opened on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at the Trust Land Office. Purchasers may elect to either make a lump sum payment for payoff or eligible purchasers may use TLO financing.
