Harding Lake is located approximately 50 miles southeast on the Richardson Highway. It is a popular lake for recreation and home to one of the oldest State recreation facilities in the Alaska State Park System.

Little Harding Lake Subdivision is located between Salcha Drive and Little Harding Lake near milepost 319 Richardson Highway. The neighborhood which includes Harding Lake is located adjacent (across Salcha Drive) to the subdivision.

How to Access

The parcel has road frontage and is accessible by Salcha Drive, a paved road. The western boundary of the parcel has frontage on Little Harding Lake.

Utilities

Electricity is available along the road frontage. There are no public water and sewer services available. Water is typically handled by private wells and sewer is typically handled by private septic systems which will have to conform to Alaska Department of Environmental  Conservation (DEC) requirements.

Muni/Borough Authority

The parcel is located within the Fairbanks North Star Borough and is subject to real property taxation. The parcel is zoned Rural Estate District 2 (RE2).

This parcel is near Harding Lake, a popular body of water for canoes, motorized boats, jet skis or other watercraft. The shoreline is lined with recreational cabins and a few year-round homes. Harding Lake State Recreation Area (SRA) is located on the north side of the lake. The recreation area features a boat launch facility, picnic sites, & ball fields. Hiking trails are also available at Harding Lake SRA. There is fishing for lake trout, arctic char, and burbot.

Vegetation on the parcel includes black spruce and birch trees.
