Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
This grant program provides Trust beneficiaries with a broad range of equipment, supplies and services to improve their quality of life, increase independent functioning and help them attain and maintain healthy and productive lifestyles. These may include, but are not limited to, therapeutic devices, access to special health care, and other supplies or services that might improve an individual’s ability to function in the community and become self-sufficient.
On May 16, 2025, the Trust updated both the Behavioral Health and Intellectual and developmental Disabilities mini grant programs. The eligibility and general process for the mini grants did not change. More information about the updates can be found here.
The Trust no longer requires documentation regarding the diagnosis or other Protected Health Information (PHI) regarding the applicant individual. Do not include documentation such as diagnosis forms, letters of support, or medical records to an application. Any such documentation will be deleted from the grant application and not considered.
Eligibility
- People with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Youth enrolled in early intervention or infant learning programs
Who can apply: Applications will be accepted from organizations working with Trust beneficiaries. The role of the applicant organization is to serve as a fiscal agent in administering grant funds. Applications received directly from individuals or their family members will not be considered.
