ALASKA MENTAL HEALTH TRUST ANNOUNCES $2M IN GRANT AWARDS

The Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority (Trust) Board of Trustees awarded more than $2 million in grants to beneficiary-serving organizations in the third quarter of fiscal year 2025.

These grants to partners are a part of the Trust’s $25+ million annual grant program supporting Alaskan organizations that serve and support Trust beneficiaries including nonprofits, service providers, Tribal entities, and state and local government agencies. Trust grants are awarded year-round for capacity building, direct service, outreach, planning, capital construction, and workforce initiatives and training for organizations that serve Trust beneficiaries. Beneficiaries of the Trust include Alaskans who experience mental illness, substance use disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia, and traumatic brain injuries.

“Trust grant funds are deployed across the state to organizations that are positively impacting Trust beneficiaries and communities,” said Mary Wilson, MD, CEO of the Trust. “We are pleased that Trust grant investments can continue to bolster our work to improve the lives and circumstances of Trust beneficiaries across Alaska.”

Below is a complete list of Trust grants awarded last quarter. The Trust’s quarterly grant report, posted online, provides more information about each of the grants.
