The Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority (Trust) awarded $2,186,547 in grants to beneficiary-serving organizations in the first quarter of fiscal year 2025.
These grants to community partners fund beneficiary supporting programs and initiatives that align with the Trust’s mission and values. The Trust awards more than $20M in grants each year to Alaskan nonprofits, Tribal entities, state and local government agencies and service providers. All Trust grants are awarded to organizations that serve or support Trust beneficiaries. “Our ability to provide support for our system of behavioral health and disability care relies on our strong partnerships with beneficiary-serving organizations across Alaska” says Trust Acting CEO Allison Biastock. “We appreciate all of our partners who are applying Trust funds towards improving access to care, building their capacity, providing workforce training and directly serving vulnerable Alaskans, and we’re proud to support their important work.”
