Notice to Bid – Competitive Leasing Program – Little Tutka Bay

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to the provisions of AS 38.05.801 and 11 AAC 99, the Executive Director of the Alaska Mental Health Trust Land Office (TLO) has determined that it is in the best interest of the Alaska Mental Health Trust and its beneficiaries to solicit bids on Mental Health Parcel SM-5020 through the TLO’s Competitive Commercial Leasing Program. The basis for this determination is explained in a written best interest decision prepared on May 20, 2019 by the Executive Director pursuant to 11 AAC 99.040. The 24-acre parcel is located in Sections 15, 16, 21 & 22, Township 8 South, Range 13 West, Seward Meridian. An initial proposal and bid have been received; this public notice is given to solicit any interested party to submit a competing proposal to meet the intent of 11 AAC 99.020. At the sole discretion of the Executive Director of the Trust Land Office, proposals may be rejected if deemed unsuitable or not in the best interest of the Trust or its beneficiaries.
To apply to lease, a “Competitive Lease Application” form must be completed and received before 4:30 PM, March 5th, 2021.
