The community of Kenai is located on the Kenai River, 10 miles northwest of Soldotna on the Kenai Peninsula and approximately 150 miles southwest of Anchorage.  The parcels are north of the Kenai Spur Highway near mile 8.5.

The Kenai is a popular recreation area particularly during the summer due to its access to Cook Inlet and the Kenai River. It is noted for its beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife, and world-class fishing.

 There is no central public water and sewer in the area. Water is typically handled by a private well and sewer is typically handled by a private septic system, which will have to conform to Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) requirements.
