Access


Parcels are located on the saltwater of Tenakee Inlet. Access to the parcels is via boat or float plane.

Tenakee Springs is incorporated as a second class city; and is governed by a seven member city council under the direction of a mayor.

Electricity is not available in the area. There are no municipal water or sewer systems available. Private wells and septic systems are typical in the area. All on-site well and septic must meet the requirements of the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC).

Tenakee Springs is a remote Alaskan village with a hot springs bath. The area is a naturalist paradise with wildlife view opportunities in every direction. The village has a small year-round population that expands during the summer due to tourism and boat traffic.
