Little Jakolof Bay - East Oyster Cove SubdivisionThe Oyster Cove Subdivision is located in Little Jakolof Bay on the southern side of of Kachemak Bay. It is about 13 miles south of Homer, AK and roughly 6 to 7 miles east from Seldovia, AK. The boat ride to the area is typical of Alaska scenery, with high rise mountains in the foreground and a vast ocean skyline. Alaskan wildlife in the Kachemak Bay area is prevalent, giving locals and visitors an opportunity to see whales, otters, and birds of many species. Kachemak Bay is also popular for its fishing activities with a variety of species in the area. The Oyster Cove Subdivision is tucked in a cove off Kachemak Bay and is only accessible by boat or float plane. The area mainly consists of residential homes and recreational cabins.

The parcel is waterfront and located in Little Jakolof Bay. It is only accessible by boat or float plane and approximately 9 nautical miles south of Homer, AK, across Kachemak Bay. The shoreline may be suitable for a dock or landing craft. It is on the eastern side of the Oyster Cove Subdivision and partially protected by the cove.
Electricity is available in the area but not developed to the parcel. There are no public water and sewer services available. Water is typically handled by private wells and sewer is typically handled by private septic systems which will have to conform to Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) requirements.
The property is located within the Kenai Peninsula Borough (KPB), but outside of municipal zoning. It is subject general land use guidelines, but non-restrictive.
Lots in the Oyster Cove Subdivision are undeveloped and mostly wooded with vegetation typical of southcentral Alaska, they have varying topography, and are waterfront. Lot 14 is the exception, it is only accessible by a Public Easement from the Little Tutka Bay side as identified on the plat below.
